Soil, Nutrients, and Seeds

The GrowCase is a complete indoor soil grow kit but it does not come with soil or seeds. This is because you can use the GrowCase to grow more than just cannabis. So depending on what you are looking to grow, you will need to make sure you get the right soil to go along with your seeds. Soil

​

GrowCase recommends using FoxFarm Happy Frog Potting Soil (FX14047) if you are growing cannabis. FoxFarm uses only the highest quality, premium ingredients – no cheap fillers, no topsoil, no sludge. You can easily find this soil at most online retailers or hardware stores with a nice sized gardening section. The 2.0 cu ft bag is the perfect size for filling the included 3 gallon grow bags that come with the GrowCase complete indoor grow kit.

 

This organic soil is nutrient-rich and ready to use right out of the bag. The soil features of a unique mix of beneficial soil microbes, mycorrhizal fungi, and sediment that rapidly increases root development. The pH of the soil is adjusted for maximum nutrient uptake, so your plants feed more aggressively. Plants will develop a stronger structure, vigorous vegetative growth, and enhanced bud production.

Nutrients

The GrowCase complete grow system comes with 3 different nutrients to help enhance your yields and quantity of buds. The GrowCase recipe provides the specific times to apply the nutrients during the grow cycle. Adding the nutrients in the wrong amounts or at the wrong times will diminish your yields, so make sure you follow the GrowCase recipe.

 

The 3 nutrients that come with the kit are FloraGro, FloraBloom, and FloraMicro. FloraGro helps to stimulate the root structure and provide vegetative growth. FloraBloom stimulates flower development and helps to enhance the flavor profiles. FloraMicro creates a growth foundation by providing nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and other trace elements.

Seeds

We do not include seeds GrowCase complete indoor soil grow kits but we suggest the Northern Lights strain for first time growers. Northern Lights is one of the most potent and highest yielding cannabis strains. It is a smaller plant featuring dense wide-fingered Indica leaves which makes it ideal for indoor growing. The aroma is pungently sweet and the taste is a flavorful mixture of sweet and spicy.

 

When shopping for seeds, be sure to look for feminized marijuana seeds. These types of seeds are bred so that they produce female plants 99% of the time. It is only the female marijuana plant that produces the fragrant buds that are enjoyed by cannabis users. Another thing to keep in mind when shopping for strain seeds is how pungent the strain is during the flowering stage. Northern lights has a light cannabis odor so it is perfect for indoor growing.
