Typical Stages Of Cannabis Cultivation
Growing cannabis indoors involves several distinct stages. Our grow recipe will walk you through each stage week by week. Each stage of the indoor cannabis growing process requires careful attention to factors like lighting, humidity, temperature, nutrients, and water. By understanding and managing these stages effectively, growers can cultivate healthy and high-quality cannabis plants.

Germination
The process begins with germinating cannabis seeds. This involves placing the seeds in a suitable environment with moisture and warmth to encourage sprouting.

Flowering Stage
Once you reach the desired size and maturity, you will induce the cannabis plants into the flowering stage. You can initiate this stage by reducing the light cycle to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness. Cannabis plants begin to develop buds during this stage.

Seedling Stage
During this stage, the young plants develop their first set of leaves called cotyledons. The growth of the plant will seem to slow, but the root system is actively in development.

Harvesting
The final stage is harvesting, which occurs when the buds have reached their peak potency and maturity. Harvesting involves carefully cutting, trimming, and drying the buds to preserve their quality.

Vegetative Stage
In the vegetative stage, cannabis plants focus on leaf and stem growth. They require longer periods of light (typically 18-24 hours) to encourage healthy development.

Curing
After the initial drying process, the harvested buds undergo a curing process. This involves storing the buds in a controlled environment with specific humidity and airflow. This will further enhance their aroma, flavor, and overall quality.
